I am a psychotherapist who uses an integrative developmental approach to therapy informed by psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral principles and mindfulness-based therapies. I encourage my clients to understand and address the fears, obstacles and stories that interfere with their personal journey of joyful living and passion, and incorporate techniques that focus on both mind and body awareness to allow for deeper and more integrative therapeutic work. I am a Licensed Master of Social Work with a degree from New York University and a concentration in psychoanalysis. Furthermore, I hold a Doula and Sivananda Yoga Certificate and have been a Vipassana Meditation practitioner for many years. Throughout my travels to Central and South America, Africa and Asia, I have developed new ways to incorporate yoga and meditation into mindfulness therapy.
I am an independent contractor for The Midtown Center for Personal Development and The New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center.
